Meet Zoya Batool
My solo travel journey began in 2019 when I was selected for the Global-UGRAD program to study math in La Crosse, WI. This was my first time being in another country, with cultures very different from what I grew up with, and it was halfway around the world! (Yes, my parents are incredibly brave and encouraging.) I got on a bus, train or plane every chance I got and visited 15 states in one busy semester, returning with a realization that shaped my perspective. Regardless of where you go in the world, we all have more in common than we do not and the fear of the unknown keeps us from experiencing life to the fullest.
Since then, it has been quite the ride. I found the love of my life and so many close friendships and family from around the world by stepping outside my comfort zone. I have lived in the beautiful mountains of Montana since 2021, when I first came here for graduate school. I enjoy endeavors that lead to learning something new and have room for creativity, and believe that it’s all in the details! I strive to bring this into the trips I plan, but am as much or as little involved as you like. Leaving a stable career to start the LittlEscapade Travel Club was a bold step, but it allows me to share my love for exploration while fostering a welcoming environment for fellow adventurers. I believe that travel brings us closer together and creates lasting connections.
I’m excited to help you embark on your own unforgettable journey!
